Tee Time Radio was born from a meeting between David Yates and CJ McDaniel, the PGA’s first Director of Marketing.  Although their original conversations concerned homebuilding, David quickly grew to believe that CJ had such great stories and personal presence that he should host a golf show on radio.  Tee Time Radio was born.

Co-hosted by CJ, Dan Potter and LPGA Pro Lisa DePaulo the show aired on 570 KLIF-AM in Dallas/Ft. Worth, on ESPN 97.5 FM in Houston/Galveston, and on Spectrum FM, Spain’s largest English-speaking radio network.

The show featured interviews with some of the biggest names in golf, including Ben Crenshaw, Pete Dye, Lorena Ochoa, and rocker Alice Cooper, a golf nut.

Although the original hosts have moved on to other projects, Tee Time Radio (now under the production of Cumulus Radio), still airs in 570 KLIF-AM in Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Enjoy Dan, CJ, and Lisa talking to Alice Cooper as he tells the story of meeting Elvis Presley for the first time.
