Inside Texas Outdoors was a program conceived, produced, and syndicated by David Yates that focused on Texas’ hunting and fishing opportunities. David was joined by co-hosts Olivia Nalos and Jeff Kirkwood Saturday mornings from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on KNTH 1070 AM and KKHT 100.7 FM in Houston/Galveston; KSKY 660 AM and KSKY 92.9 FM in Dallas/Fort Worth; on KLUP 930 AM in San Antonio; and on KAND 1340 AM in Corsicana.
The show was a victim of the economic recession and ceased production in the Summer of 2009.

Olivia Nalos was named Mrs. Nebraska in 2003 with a platform to promote the importance of hunters as conservationists, humanitarians and stewards of renewable wildlife resources. But she’s not just a talker, she is a huntress, hunting big game & dangerous game in countries such as: Benin, Ethiopia, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Mongolia, New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, and throughout the United States.
She has hunted species from red stag to Cape buffalo and many animals in between. Needless to say, she has been there and done that, yet considers herself fortunate to play a role in preserving our great hunting heritage.

Jeff Kirkwood is a professional Christian fishing guide who has been one of the top favored guides on Lake Fork for over 10 years. Jeff has put his clients on numerous “trophy” bass. Jeff has been fishing since he was four years old and is a former Bassmaster University Instructor.
Jeff regularly teaches anglers how to read present and future weather patterns, what structure is, how to find it and how to fish it, graph reading, seasonal patterns for all four seasons and baits to throw for those times. From the beginner struggling to learn to cast, set the hook, and select a fishing rod & reel to expert topics like boat positioning, Jeff is a patient and understanding instructor who lives not only to talk about hunting and fishing, but also enjoys earning his living outdoors in Texas.
